For Reese Witherspoon, arrest is a 'PR nightmare'
The star known for her role in Legally Blond is apologizing after some legal trouble.
Actress Reese Witherspoon said she's "deeply embarrassed" about how she acted when police officers in Atlanta arrested her husband. The academy award winner was also arrested for disorderly conduct.
She and her husband were pulled over, and he was charged with DUI. During the stop, Witherspoon asked the arresting trooper, "Do you know my name?"
Reese made her first public appearance last night in New York City since the arrest. She didn't speak to cameras at the premiere of her film Mud, which was shot in Arkansas. However, in a statement late Sunday, she apologized for what she called her "disrespectful" behavior to the officer.
She stated "I clearly had one drink too many, and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said."
A court date is set in May for the couple.

FA: Standard punishment is 'clearly insufficient' for Luis Suarez bite
One soccer player is fined for taking a mid game snack the other day in England. The only problem is he took a bit out of his opponent.
Liverpool's Luis Suarez was fighting for the ball when he leaned in and bit the opposing team's defender. The referee didn't catch it, but the cameras did.
Suarez wrote Monday on Twitter that "for my unacceptable behavior yesterday, the club has fined me today." They also offered anger management.
Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened. Suarez was suspended 7 games in 2010 for biting a player.

East Carolina University decided to honor 8-year-old Noah Roberts this weekend. Roberts suffers from a genetic disorder that effects his nervous system, but that didn't matter to him on Saturday.
Noah took a ball 45 yards to the end zone and the crowd went wild. The boy says he has been a big fan of the university ever since his big sister started going there.
Though Roberts had to return to the hospital Sunday, his mother said the special moment has lifted his spirits, and it is all he can talk about.
