CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - A six-year-old is being treated for a stab wound she received after a man was found in her bedroom about 3:45 a.m. Friday.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, the girl's family found a relative in her room in the middle of the night. When family members tried to get the suspect out, he reportedly attacked them with a knife and a pair of scissors.
Three people were injured, including the six-year-old girl. She is being treated at Children's Hospital in Little Rock for a puncture wound behind the ear. As of Friday afternoon, she was listed in "critical condition." The other two victims had cuts to their finger or underarm.
The family continued fighting the suspect and subdued him until deputies arrived. Kou Her, 21, of Clarksville was arrested and is charged with three counts of Second Degree Battery, one count of Residential Burglary, one count of Attempted Kidnapping, and one count of Attempted Murder.
