OTTAWA, Ohio (AP) - A teenager who pointed Ohio authorities to the bodies of two dead brothers who had been reported missing has pleaded not guilty to a grand theft auto charge.
The Associated Press previously identified the 17-year-old but now is withholding his name because he has been charged as a juvenile.
Authorities say all three teenagers were named in an Amber Alert after a mother returned to a Putnam County trailer home and found a crime scene.
The boy was detained Thursday after he was found with a missing car in Columbus, about 115 miles southeast of Ottawa. He faces no other charges.
Prosecutors asked a judge Friday that he continue to be held in jail because they anticipate additional charges, which they didn't specify.
The boy's attorney and his mother have declined to comment.
