LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Little Rock-based pizzeria Damgoode Pies will open a new 180 seat location in Rogers, Ark. on Monday, June 10, 2013, moving into the former Rib Crib building at 3604 W. Walnut Street.
"Our location in Fayetteville is hitting its stride and now it's time to grow," says Damgoode Pies franchise owner Brendan Maxwell. "We're very excited about Rogers."
"Have you ever seen the movie Airplane?" interrupted Jeff Trine, founder of Damgoode Pies. "Remember when the dude says, 'Roger, Roger!' That was funny. No, I was just saying because Rogers reminded me of that part."
Damgoode Pies has earned several awards both locally and nationally. Among them: The Food Network's "Best Pizza in Arkansas" in 2010 and "Best Pizza" in the Arkansas Times Readers' Poll seven years in a row.
The Rogers location will provide Delivery service as well as Dine In and Pick Up. Plus, a full bar and free wi-fi.
