LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Testimony began on the third day of the trial against a former Little Rock police officer accused of killing a teenager.
While on the stand, the prosecuting attorney showed images of the scene, where Josh Hastings is accused of killing Bobby Moore, Jr. last fall.
One of the exhibits, quite graphic, showed Moore slumped over in the driver's seat of the car; this caused several people to emotionally leave the courtroom. On Tuesday, Judge Wendell Griffen gave specific instructions that no one from the gallery would be permitted to leave the courtroom unless court was in recess or given permission by a bailiff.
According to the judge, the people who left the courtroom Wednesday caused a distraction and are not allowed to return to the courtroom for the duration of the trial.
