    Officers identified in Monday's shooting, which led to protest

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The official police report was released Tuesday, following a deadly officer-involved shooting the day before that sparked a protest with more than 100 people along 12th Street in Little Rock.

    According to the report, the officer who shot and killed suspect and victim Deon Williams, 26, has been identified as Ofc. Terry McDaniel. The second officer involved in the shooting, according to Sgt. Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department, is Ofc. Grant Humphries, who had been with LRPD for five years.

    Both officers, Humphries and McDaniel, have been placed on administrative leave, which Sgt. Davis said is standard protocol.

    In May of 2012, Ofc. McDaniel shot and killed 19-year-old Charles Edward Murry Jr. after he pulled out a small revolver when fleeing from an attempted home burglary on Thayer Street in Little Rock. (http://on.kthv.com/12EbfR9)
