LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A man charged in the murder of an Arkansas teen has pleaded not guilty.
Darrell Dennis, 46, is charged with capital murder in the death of 18-year-old Forrest Abrams.
Dennis appeared in Pulaski County Circuit Court today and a judge set his trial date for Feb. 3.
Pulaski County prosecutor Larry Jegley says his office hasn't decided whether they'll seek the death penalty. He says they will make that decision later after discussing it with Abrams' family.
Abrams was found dead in the street at 11th Street and Woodrow Street May 10.
Police said Abrams had been refueling his car with a friend when three people demanded a ride at gun point.
Dennis is also charged with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of aggravated robbery, and possession of firearms by certain persons.
Abram's death made the twelfth murder of the year for the city of Little Rock.
