SHERWOOD, Ark. (KTHV) - More information has come out about Mr. Wiggles' condition since his surgery Monday.
Surgeons said it will likely be three to four weeks before they know if he can properly use his legs again, but he has shown some signs of improvement already by being able to wag his tail. According to doctors, he is being kept a still as possible until he can heal.
He will likely go back to his foster family Monday and stay the weekend at the hospital.
Countless requests have come in for adoption, but his current caretakers have no word on when an adoption could actually happen.
As of Friday, $12,000 has been brought in for Mr. Wiggles from around the United States. SASH (Sherwood Animal Shelter Helpers) said they would use the funds for other special needs animals.
