LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A man tells police he was carjacked from a downtown parking lot and forced to withdraw money from an ATM.

Police say the male victim walked into the police department Sept. 17 to report a carjacking from the day before. The victim said he was in the parking lot at 7th Street and Scott Street when he was approached by a subject who pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded the victim take him to an ATM.

The victim drove to the Arvest ATM at Capitol St. and Broadway Ave. and took $40 from the ATM and then $60 from his wallet. The subject then demanded the victim take him back to the parking lot who then left the car and walked south on Scott St.

The victim says the subject didn't appear nervous and acted if he was on drugs.

THV 11 News will update this story as it develops.
