HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) -- On Wednesday, THV 11 reported that a bride-to-be was searching for answers after she and her fiancé spent nearly $1,000 on a wedding dress in January, had it stored at the shop, and then a month before the wedding, learned that the shop had closed.

A day after the story aired, the young Hot Springs couple, Megan Shapley and Shawn Randolph, have the dress back in their possession, and are breathing a sigh of relief.
Wednesday, Randolph told THV 11, "Something's got to be done about it. It's just too much money for us. I mean, we're not rich. We're paying for this entire wedding pretty much ourselves out of pocket, and it's too much of an expense to just not have anymore."
After the shop owner spoke with the couple and a lawyer on Thursday, the dress is back in the couple's hands.
Randolph said in a Facebook post, "Thanks to everyone who helped us and to everyone that offered us dresses. We really appreciate it."
