HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (Hot Springs Daily, KTHV) - According to Lt. James Martin with the Garland County Sheriff's Office, the boyfriend of Hot Springs Village dispatcher Dawna Natzke killed in 2011, has been taken into custody in Colorado after a warrant was issued on a first degree murder charge Monday.

Garland County investigators received information that Kevin Duck was in the area of Burlington, Colorado. Lt. Martin said that information was passed along to the Kit Carson County Sheriff's Office in Colorado and they were able to confirm that Duck was taken into custody Tuesday evening, without incident.

Hot Springs Daily reported that a probable cause affidavit says phone records obtained from the F.B.I. put Kevin Duck about half a mile away from the sites.

Natzke, 46, had reportedly not been seen since December 21. Her car was found burned in a remote area around 11 a.m. the next day.

On January 1, remains were found in Garland County, and they were later identified as Natzke.

Duck's bond was set at $250,000. Garland County Prosecuting Attorney, Steve Oliver, told THV 11 his office is waiting to hear if Duck will waive his extradition hearing in Colorado.
