LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Christmas is the time of giving and cooking, and the Junior League of Little Rock (JLLR) is here to help you do both.
On Saturday morning, Jenny Beck with JLLR stopped by to talk about the cookbooks, filled with recipes for the holiday. Proceeds from the cookbooks go to fund community projects like Stuff the Bus, Boosters and Big Rigs, GROW and FACT.
Big Taste of Little Rock was Awarded Best Fundraising Cookbook in the US and then in the World by Gourmand in Paris in February 2010. It also features many recipes donated by local restaurants including Gypsy's, Boulevard Bread Company, Chef of the Governor's Mansion, Capital Hotel, Catering to You and Sticky Fingers.
For more information or to buy one of their cookbooks, take a look at Junior League of Little Rock's website, JLLR.org: http://on.kthv.com/18DIGbx The books are also sold at many local retailers.
