WRIGHT CITY, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma authorities say a suspect has been arrested in Texarkana, Ark., for first-degree murder in the apparent shooting death of a woman in southeastern Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that 52-year-old Eddie Virgin was interviewed in Texarkana after McCurtain County authorities received a tip that 38-year-old Amy Endsley had been killed and her body dumped in the county. The OSBI says Virgin provided information leading to the discovery of Endsley's body near Wright City.
Virgin is now in custody in Texarkana pending extradition back to Oklahoma.
Court records do not list an attorney for Virgin, whose home address is listed as Magnolia, Ark.
