LOGAN COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Crews are working to put out a fire on Mount Magazine.

According to Adriane Barnes with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, the Friday afternoon fire spread about 15 to 20 acres before crews contained it, placing a ring around the blaze.

Additionally, Barnes told THV11 that no structures are being threatened by the fire, which is being worked primarily by the Arkansas Forestry Service with the commission assisting.

All of Arkansas is under a "Moderate Fire Danger Warning," according to Barnes.  The commission recommends that landowners avoid burning as fire danger is much more tied to humidity, moisture levels, and wind, rather than temperature.

Currently, Van Buren and Independence counties are under burn bans: http://www.arkfireinfo.org/index.php?do:showBurnBans
