When officers arrived on scene they met with the Supervisor and the victim's mother who said she noticed carpet burns on her 8-month-old son Monday night after picking him up from the Child Care facility.

The child care worker Keyuanna Coats admitted to investigators that she had taken the 8- month-old child and drug him across the carpeted floor twice causing carpet burns to the child's elbows.

Coats said that she kept dragging the child because he kept getting in to an area where they kept the cleaning supplies but said the she never intended to cause harm to him.
