Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice says in a statement that her office is unaware of any injuries or property damage at Walmart stores in New York on Friday. It's one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
The prosecutor's office also says it appears company crowd control measures "improved significantly since last year."
But it says the company's overall compliance with the district attorney's crowd control requirements will undergo a long review.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. says in a statement that it is getting positive feedback from its customers and associates nationwide.
