Marlon Watkins, 19, was about to be moved from the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility Satellite Center early in the morning of Nov. 22 when he allegedly jumped into a van and took off.
The van along with his yellow jail clothes were found abandoned a short time later at 26th and Jackson Street.
Monday, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office and Little Rock Police Department had learned Watkins was in the area of Baseline and Chico Roads.
Several locations were searched early this morning without finding the suspect, and around 2:45 Monday afternoon new information placed the suspect in a vehicle in the same area of town.
Little Rock Police and Sheriff's Office Investigators spotted the car and found Watkins in the trunk. He was taken into custody without incident.
Watkins is now back in the main facility of the Pulaski County Detention Facility.
Watkins was initally arrested by Little Rock police on Nov. 8 for charges of possession of marijuana, obstructing government operations and criminal use of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles). Watkins was also charged on older warrants for residential burglary and theft of property.
Additional charges of escape, 2nd degree, criminal mischief and theft of a motor vehicle have been added to Watkins charges.
