HIGH POINT, NC - It is not only college and high schoolers graduating this May.
Six service dogs graduated training on Saturday to help disabled veterans.
The group Patriot Rover took them through a years worth of courses to help with things like night terrors, anxiety, and reminding the veterans to take their medications.
Each dog is named after a fallen solider, and several of the gold star families showed up for today's celebration in High Point.
"Each of these dogs is a living memorial, living tribute to the service and sacrifice to those who have served this nation with honor and distinction and sadly are no longer with us, but we want to maintain their memories."
This is the 14th round of dogs to graduate from the program since it started in 2010.
