Terry Lynn Detherow allegedly fires into crowd, killing John Mosley

SCOTT, AR (KTHV) - A man is dead after a shooting in Pulaski County.

Pulaski County Sherriff's Deputies were dispatched to a residents in Scott just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday night after reports of shots had been fired and two people had been injured.

Reports state that several individuals were attending an annual party on Bayou Drive when someone fired shots into the crowd. One victim was struck in the chest and was driven to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries; another victim was grazed in the face by a bullet.

The Sheriff's department reports that John J. Mosley, 37, died from a gunshot wound. Terry Lynn Detherow, 45, was found later at a local hotel and taken into custody.

He is charged with first degree murder and first degree attempted murder.
