CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Police in Conway say that a Hendrix College employee was arrested on rape charges Tuesday.

According to police, Lucas Parker was arrested after a 17-year-old girl told an adult that he had sexual contact with her. The alleged sexual contact dates back to 2006, and is said to have ended in May 2012.

The investigation is only a couple of days in, but police say Parker was arrested at his home and taken into custody without any problems. Police say the investigation is to continue.

According to the Hendrix College website, Parker works on the facilities support staff at the college's physical plant.
