DEVALLS BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) State police say they're helping the DeValls Bluff Police Department in a murder Friday night.

State authorities say it happened approximately 9:30 p.m. when there was an argument outside the Happy Times Liquor Store between Edgar Wilson, 61, the owner of the business, and Dale Metcalf.

Metcalf, 41, was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.

Wilson and witnesses have been questioned; meanwhile agents are awaiting results of an autopsy and analysis of evidence which has been delivered to the State Crime Laboratory.

Wilson was held last night at the Prairie County Sheriff's Department.
