Christina Beatty, Joseph Kensinger in custody, Tyler Dixon dead following arrest attempt

MARION, Ark. (KTHV) - Two suspects were arrested and another shot himself after authorities tried to take them into custody.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office says Christina Beatty,39, of Peel, and Tyler Dixon, 26, of Flippin, fled when deputies tried to arrest them in connection with a highway department shop break-in.

Deputies said when they caught up to them, Dixon shot himself in the head and later died.

The sheriff's department said they found Beatty and Dixon armed, in possession of meth, along with a lab and stolen property at their home.

Beatty is facing numerous felony drug charges.

Joseph Kensinger, 33, of Yellville, has also been arrested in the case after turning himself in.
