LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Police in the Capital City are investigating a shooting that occurred on South Valentine Street.
According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department, officers responded to a shooting Tuesday morning to find a man behind the wheel of a car, shot multiple times in the upper torso. UAMS medical staff told the officer that he endured surgery and is listed in critical condition.
Sgt. Davis says the victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
At this point, investigators are trying to determine the suspect(s), motive, and whether the victim was inside the vehicle when he was shot. The victim has been unable to speak with detectives so far in the investigation.
