  • LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Surveillance video from the Main Library showed three men knocking down a sculpture.

The library had paid for the sculpture with their own money to honor a security guard who died, and the artist who made the sculpture, Michael Warrick, is now repairing the piece.

"All I can hope is that the three people who attempted to destroy it will understand that it was in honor of someone and in the future understand that and respect that," Warrick said.

The vandalized sculpture has been removed from the library for repairs.

Warrick said he'll rework the surface, clean it up and put it back where it belongs.

Police have not said if they have any suspects in either of the vandalized artwork cases.
