LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Taco Bell on Rodney Parham was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Little Rock Police says two employees were locking up the building just after 4:15 a.m. at 9600 N. Rodney Parham Rd.

The employees say two men approached them with one armed with a black handgun and the other armed with a silver handgun. The suspects forced the two employees back into the business trying to take money from the safe but they were unsuccessful.

One of the victims says one of the suspects attacked her while the second tried to open the safe. The two employees say the two suspects were talking to a third on two-way radio. They say the third suspect was acting as a "look-out".

The suspects then fled north from the business. Police say no injuries were reported.

Late Saturday night, around 9:15 p.m. two armed suspects walked into the Wendy's at 10623 W. Markham St.

One of the suspects demanded the employee open the cash register and give him the money. He also demanded the other employees get on the ground. Once the suspect had the money he demanded the employees get to the back of the business and back on the ground. He then demanded the manager open the safe and hand over the money.

The suspects then fled the business.
