Reward offered in jail arson investigation

SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Police say an early morning fire broke out at the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections Monday.

According to police, the fire was on the north side of the building on West Vine. The fire was put out at about 5:30 am.

State Police and Searcy Police are calling the incident a "definite arson". A $5,000 reward is being offered to anybody with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved.
