CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Arkansas State Police have released new information on a murder from earlier in February along I-40 in Conway.
According to public information officer Bill Sadler, a white, four-door Nissan passenger car may have been in the area where Jose Martinez, 31, was killed.
Sadler said ASP agents are interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen the white Nissan as early as 4:45 a.m. in the vicinity of I-40 near the Morgan area or along the westbound lanes into Conway as late as 5:15 a.m. on Feb. 10.
Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact the State Police at (501) 618-8100.
Martinez was the driver of a black Nissan Frontier pick-up truck, and was shot as he approached the I-40 westbound exit onto Dave Ward Drive. He was found in the pick-up truck, and taken to a Conway hospital where he died.
