WHITE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - White County authorities have a second suspect in custody for a recent home invasion.
Tuesday, White County Sheriff's Office captured Jesse Rayburn, 29 of Searcy. He was wanted for questioning for the burglary of a home on Dam Site Road in the Judsonia area.
Police say Rayburn was waiting in the lower level of the house where he eventually shot the homeowner with a bow and arrow. Searcy.com reports the bow did not have a tip and it did not enter the victim. After a fight, police says Rayburn sprayed the homeowner with mace before fleeing the house.
Rayburn was booked into the White County Detention Center and charged with residential burglary as well as a parole violation and warrant out of Searcy Police Dept.
Rayburn is being held on a $100,000 bond. He will appear in court May 7.
Rayburn is the second suspect arrested for this burglary. Authorities have Johnny Whaley, 34 of Judsonia, in custody for residential burglary and possession of narcotics. Searcy.com reports this is the second time in less than a month that Whaley has been in custody.
Whaley is out on a $50,000 bond.
