RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Bond was set for a man charged with attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl.

Drew Latch, Public Information Officer with the Russellville Police Dept., said Travis Spearman's bond was set at $100,000 Friday morning.

The 22-year-old is accused of wearing a mask and demanding a teen to take her clothes off near the railroad tracks Thursday.

Latch said there was a similar situation that happened on Crow Mountain Road recently, but Pope County Sheriff's Office is handling that investigation. Latch could not say if the two instances are related.
