Arkansas State Police investigating Stuttgart shooting, suspect arrested

A man died from multiple gunshot wounds in Stuttgart.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A deadly shooting that occurred at around 3:20 p.m. on Nov. 26 in Stuttgart is being investigated by special agents with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, according to Arkansas State Police.

Police found Charles Lindel Ice, 39, of Stuttgart at 400 North Lowe Street in Stuttgart with multiple gunshot injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

According to initial witness statements, Ice was involved in a fight with Morgan McDonald, 30, of Stuttgart, before the shooting happened. McDonald was located and arrested late Sunday night. 

McDonald is being held in the Arkansas County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing.
