Former Razorback arrested for possession of meth

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) — A former Razorback has been arrested for possessing methamphetamine.

Van Buren police said Andrew Clarke Moore was pulled over during a traffic stop on Bella Vista Avenue.

Investigators asked the former football player to step out of his car because of his suspicious behavior. He did not resist. Police report that, after searching his person, they found a bag containing meth.

Moore was arrested for possession and taken to the Crawford County jail. Since then, he has been released.

This is not Moore's first brush with the law. In 2005, during a routine traffic stop he was arrested for driving while under the influence and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.
