According to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, the fire was at Queens Manor Apartments in Mayflower. They have not yet determined the cause of the fire, but are investigating it as a "possible arson event."

So far no one has been injured in the fire, according to police.

The Mayflower Elementary School has been opened as a shelter for those displaced by the fire.

On Monday, police arrested 23-year-old Carlon Ricks for the alleged crime. Police believe he lived at the apartment at the time of the fire.
