Police searching for suspects who duct-taped, threw woman in trunk

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Two suspects have been identified in a reported kidnapping.

On November 8, Hot Springs police responded to Kroger located at 3341 Central Avenue for a reported kidnapping.

Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old woman who reported being kidnapped by two known suspects. The victim, who is not being named, reported being kidnapped and having her hands, feet, mouth and eyes duct-taped.

The victim stated she was placed in a vehicle and driven away.  She advised the vehicle eventually stopped and she could see lights through an opening in the duct-tape. She was in the backseat of the suspect vehicle and managed to open the car door and flee from the vehicle when it stopped.

A witness reported that the suspects fled the area once the victim exited the car screaming and described the suspect vehicle as a gold colored BMW.

The suspects in this kidnapping are 20-year-old Marcus Tre Bland and 21-year-old Djuan Goodman, both of Hot Springs.  Warrants have been issued for Bland and Goodman for kidnapping (class Y felony), aggravated assault (class D felony) and theft of property (class A misdemeanor).

Anyone who knows the locations of either Marcus Tre Bland or Djuan Goodman is asked to call the Hot Springs Police Department at 501-321-6789 or your local law enforcement agency.
