Officials vote to ban e-cigarettes on UCA campus

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - The Board of Trustees at UCA voted Friday on to ban e-cigarettes on campus.

According to the Log Cabin Democrat, the committee was headed by Dr. Randy Pastor, the university's medical director. He expressed that e-cigarettes and "vaping" should be covered under the school's current tobacco policy.

The school does not allow the use of tobacco on its campus, and effective immediately, the use of e-cigarettes will also be banned.
