WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House says President Barack Obama has called Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to wish her well as she recovers from a concussion. An aide says it happened after Clinton became dehydrated from a stomach virus and fainted. The virus caused her to cancel an overseas trip this past week, and the concussion will keep her from testifying at two congressional hearings this week.
Clinton had been scheduled to appear Thursday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee to talk about the Benghazi attack. Other officials are expected to take her place.
