LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- U.S. Senator Mark Pryor joined other Senators Wednesday urging President Barack Obama to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
"The question is does it go east-west or north-south. And I want it to go north-south because that's going to be good for the U-S economy," explained Sen. Pryor. "And it means we're going to get oil from a very close neighbor and a very friendly ally and partner."
Senator Pryor is among 53 Senators to sign a letter sent to the President, which comes just a day after Nebraska's governor approved a proposed route through his state.
The Democrat said the President is out of excuses for holding up the project.
