'Survivor' star Holly Hoffman to speak at annual Go Red For Women luncheon

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Go Red For Women is gearing up for its annual luncheon.

Go Red is an initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their own health. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death in women. Revenue generated from Go Red events goes toward research and education.

At this year's luncheon, set for May 8 at the Marriot Grand Ballroom in downtown Little Rock, Holly Hoffman, the last woman survivor on CBS' "Survivor," will be the guest speaker. See her bio here.

THV11's Dawn Scott will emcee the event which starts at 10 a.m. with a "Purse-onality" Auction and Women's Expo. The luncheon will begin at noon.
