3 dead in Woodruff County crash

COTTON PLANT, Ark. (KTHV) – According to Arkansas State Police (ASP), three men were killed in a vehicle accident very early Saturday morning.

ASP said Clarence Harris, 24, of Scott; Rodney Burrell, 23, of Little Rock; and Jerrold Cross, 24, of Little Rock, all died in a vehicle accident in Woodruff County near Cotton Plant around 1:18.

A crash report indicated that the men were travelling in a 2006 Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed when it went off the south side of the road and hit a concrete culvert before becoming airborne. The car apparently hit an electrical pole and came to a rest in a ditch.

According to the report, all three were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
