SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) -- An Alaska man was captured by U.S. Marshals Tuesday on 76 counts of sexual abuse and sexual assault of a minor.
Officials say 51-year-old Jeffrey Jackson was found at Yancey Park in Searcy.
U.S. Marshals said they were contacted by Alaska State Troopers, who said Jackson was possibly in the Searcy area at a family member's house. They gave an address and Jackson's description.
Jackson was reportedly spotted in a car driving around Searcy and U.S. Marshals followed him to Yancey Park.
Investigators say Jackson did not tell them what he was doing at the park.
Jackson is wanted on 76 counts of sexual abuse and sexual assault of a minor. He is being held at the White County Jail and will be extradited back to Alaska later this week.
