Ark. education board to discuss adult charter school

Adult charter school proposed for LRSD

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Wednesday, the Arkansas Board of Education will discuss an adult education public charter school application.

The Excel Center is a proposed adult charter school for the Little Rock school district.  The school would serve adult students in ninth through twelfth grade classes with a maximum enrollment of 125 students.

The application requests the school opening for next school year.  The sponsoring entity is Goodwill Industries of Arkansas Incorporated.
