LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A Little Rock man has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving children.
In addition to his prison sentence 34-year-old Michael Don Cox will have to register as a sex offender and pay an $8,000 fine. Cox was arrested in 2014 by the Attorney General's Cyber Crimes Unit in 2014. He will serve a 12-year sentence.
Attorney General Leslie Rutledge said, "I appreciate my office's partnership with local prosecutors and law enforcement agencies across the state to protect our children and ensure these dangerous predators are brought to justice. I am committed to getting these criminals out of our neighborhoods and off the internet."
