Arkansans offer aid to Hurricane Matthew victims

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- More Arkansans are headed to the East Coast today to help with disaster relief.

Tuesday, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and Disaster Relief Alliance deployed the Tyson mobile kitchen to Greenville, North Carolina.

The mobile kitchen will serve about 32,000 meals a day to those in need.  Those involved said this is just a way to bring help, healing, and hope to devastated areas.

Volunteers from the Arkansas chapter of the American Red Cross are helping people affected by Hurricane Matthew.

If you'd like to help in relief efforts, you can text "MATTHEW" to 90999 for a $10 donation.
