Arkansas man dies in Texas kayaking accident

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - An Arkansas man has drowned in a kayaking accident on a North Texas lake during a family outing.

The Fort Worth Fire Department says the body of 50-year-old Donald Kell of Searcy, Arkansas, was recovered Saturday night from Lake Worth.

Officials say Kell was trying to reset a fishing line late Saturday afternoon when he fell from the rented kayak. Investigators say the accident happened about 400 feet from shore.

Fire department divers recovered Kell's body about an hour after he went under.
