LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A 17-year-old battling renal disease got to be a pilot for a day on Monday.
James Rogers spent the day with airmen at the Little Rock Air Force Base learning about their work environment as an honorary pilot.
James met with crew members and got a chance to check out the C-130 J ground display. He also made a stop at the Air Traffic Control tower giving him a bird's eye view of the entire base.
The base worked with Camp Aldersgate for the visit and plan to give other children battling chronic illnesses the same opportunity.
