LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Unemployment in Arkansas continues to take a dive for the eighth month in a row.
The Department of Workforce Services said the state's unemployment rate was down more than a full percentage point from May of last year.
Part of the decrease comes from the state's 13,500 new farm jobs.
As of this May, Arkansas holds a 6.4 unemployment percentage rate compared with the U.S.'s overall 6.3 percent.
