Arkansas woman accused of illegally selling more than $130,000 in food stamp benefits

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - An Arkansas woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly defrauding Utah of more than $130,000 in food stamp benefits.

KSL-TV of Salt Lake City reported  Sunday that 40-year-old Keashia Latriese Davis was recently indicted on 17 federal counts of fraud.

The Utah Department of Workforce Services says data checks found multiple benefit cards were being used in Arkansas.

Federal investigators say the cards were traced to Davis, of Little Rock.

According to court documents, Davis used other people's names, personal identifying information as well as a Utah address to get the cards. She then allegedly sold them for cash.
