Arrest made in shooting of NC woman at Ark. gas station

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – An arrest has been made in the August shooting of a North Carolina woman at a gas station in North Little Rock.

On October 4, North Little Rock Police officers and investigators arrested 32-year-old Tramale Deangelo Wright and 32-year-old Sharekia Nisha Law both of Maumelle for the murder of Amy Ashley.

Ashley, 39 of Raleigh, North Carolina, died  from her injuries on August 10 following a shooting at a Valero gas station just off the Interstate 30 bridge.

Reports state that officers found Ashley inside her SUV suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both Wright and Law were arrested on warrants for first degree murder. They are currently being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility with no bond. 

Both individuals will be arraigned in North Little Rock District Court on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
