ASO teams up with Arkansas Foodbank for 'Beethoven and Blue Jeans'

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is inviting you out to enjoy a night of great music and best of all, you can leave your suits and fancy dresses at home.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – This weekend, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is inviting you out to enjoy a night of great music. Best of all, you can leave your suits and fancy dresses at home.

ASO is partnering with the Arkansas Foodbank for the “Beethoven and Blue Jeans” concerts on April 8 and 9 at the Robinson Center.

Attendees can support the Arkansas Foodbank by dropping off food items before either concert and as a thank you, patrons who donate at least 12 items from the following list will receive a pair of free tickets to a future ASO concert.

Items needed include:

-Peanut butter

-Cereal

-Canned soups

-Canned fruits and vegetables

-Canned meats/fish/poultry

-Boxed meals

-100 % juice

The times for the concert are Saturday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 9, at 3 p.m.  

Food items can be dropped off at the Foodbank tent at the Beer & Brats street party before each concert from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission to the street party is complimentary with tickets to the concert. Detailed information on about the pre-concert street party is at http://www.arkansassymphony.org/party
