Benton woman's imagination produces "Sparks of Light"

THV11's Craig O'Neill sits down with an Arkansas author to discuss her second book that was just released called "Sparks of Light."

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Janet B. Taylor works part-time in the radiology department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

She wakes up at 4 a.m. every day to write. Taylor has been doing this for several years and it has resulted in two books of young adult fiction.

The first was “Into the Dim” about a young girl named Hope who lives a plain life in Arkansas. But in book one, she follows her destiny to Scotland, time travels and interacts with historical figures, all in search of her mother.

It was so successful, she has now produced book two called, “Sparks of Light.” It’s a sequel and in this one, she goes back to the late 19th century and to New York City and the Gilded Age.

Without giving too much away, know that both books are action packed and romantic. Plus, there’s another element, they’re educational. There has already been a book signing that we talked about on THV11.

But, the second book is out and captivating and entertaining. “Into The Dim,” “Sparks of Light,” and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
