NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Verizon Arena is going to sound a little more country this fall season with Grammy award winning artist Chris Stapleton set to perform on Thursday, November 16.
This isn’t the first time Stapleton has played in the state. In 2016, he was one of the headliners at Riverfest and in July 2016 he performed in Rogers.
His sophomore album, “From A Room: Volume 1” releases on Friday, May 5. It comes exactly two years after his first album, “Traveller.” That album hit number one both on the country chart in the nation, but also the US chart. It ended up going 2-times platinum and he won a bevy of awards including a pair of Grammys.
Rolling Stone has given Stapleton’s newest album a four star review, calling it equal parts Otis Redding and Waylon Jennings.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. Tickets prices range from $35.75 up to $70.75 and there is a four ticket limit per each household.
Stapleton will be joined by Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb.
